If there is one thing I love finding – it’s a really great eyeshadow palette. Even though I have a tonne of them, I still love finding a new one that I can’t get enough of.
I usually go through a phase of using that particular one for a month or so and then I move on a another…. I’m a makeup hoare I suppose 😉
Recently I started using the Shady Lady Special Edition palette from theBalm and I am LOVING it. For awhile I was using the Nude’Tude one which I still love, but it’s always good to mix things up a little!!
This cute palette has a range of x9 shadows and I love every single one of them. Like seriously – when is there ever a palette you buy where you love every single shade/colour?
The colours are so me – they range from beautiful light pink/mauve tones right through to dark cranberrys and brown taupes. IN LOVE. What I really like about this palette is, not only are they paraben free – the colour payoff and the ability to blend them out to perfection has me captivated.
The whitest colour ‘envious’ (far left/bottom line) is also the most perfect colour for brow highlight & for the inner eye! You can see what I mean here in the below picture.
At the weekend, I attended a friends wedding in the UK, you can read my outfit post here, and for my eyes I used only this palette! Not only does it have all of the colours I adore, its small, compact and ideal for travelling!
