Hey guys, how is your week going so far?? How amazing has the weather lately, yesterday in Dublin was so warm! It’s really great to see and it instantly puts you into a good work mood, doesn’t it??
So anyway, as you might know from my social media, myself and Dylan headed down to Kerry for two nights to celebrate our x3 year anniversary, which was lovely. We stayed in the Muckross Park hotel and Spa Sunday and Monday and wow – 10/10 experience.
From the staff, to the service, to the food, the spa, the cleanliness and rooms – we were blown away. Our trip couldn’t have been more relaxing if we tried, it was so nice to get away for a few days and literally do nothing – it’s perfect for recharging the batteries and getting that fire in your belly all over again!
On the Sunday night I went with this look here, and it seemed to have went down very well with you guys. On Monday night I posted this picture below of my hair and makeup to my Snapchat / Fb and lots of you were asking questions about my hair & makeup. I have decided that I am going to do a video on my hair for you guys and for now I will give you a full run through of the products I used for my makeup both nights. 🙂
Foundation:
Base: Laura Mercier Primer / Mac Strobe Cream
Makeup Forever Ultra HD foundation in shade 123 (an amazing new foundation from MUF)
Contour:
I used this amazing Motives concealer palette which you read more about here. Its so good and I love the coverage yet definition it gives without being too cakey! I hate cakey looking makeup, I think it looks dirty 🙁
I then also go over my contour with the Sleek contour palette to really enhance my features.
To set the foundation:
As always, I used the Fuschia Mineral Foundation in FAWN. You can read my review on this here. Its my ultimate FAVE and gives my skin a flawless look.
Blush:
After watching a makeup tutorial from The Makeup Chair, I started using this blush and I love it, I think I may have used it before, I can’t be sure, but Sinead certainly has me using it now! It’s so fab on, a really natural blushed effect.
Highlighter on cheek bones:
I used Golden Globe highlighter from MAC – this is a wonderful product. You can read why here.
Brows:
My HD Brow Platte in VAMP and to set my brows in pace, I always use this Gimme Brow from Benefit, which you can read more about that here.
Eyes:
All Inglot Shades
- Transition Colour: Inglot 314
- Lid Colour: Inglot 368
- Crease: Inglot 335
- Right In The Centre of Eyelid: Inglot 3393 (peach shimmer)
- Brow Bone: Inglot 373 (White)
Liner: Inglot Black Gel Liner and some Duraline to water it down (makes it easier to use and changes the texture into more of a liquid)
