Get the look – Day to Night 💄💫

Hey everyone! I hope you had a great weekend 💖

On Friday I got ready and went for a fabulous brunch in the Westbury with two of my girls, it was such a lovely day and night and I absolutely love that we got to do this.

Before heading out, I did a tutorial on my Instagram and talked you guys through all the products I used and the makeup look I created to take me from day to night. Of course, majority of these products are SOSU and Dripping Gold, which I have featured quite often in any of my product based posts but that’s because these are my essential products, when I am doing a day to day look, I tend to use the lighter shades or a little less of the product and I build it up if I want more of a ‘going out’ look, product details below⬇️

New kid on the block – I introduced two new products on my Instagram on Friday:

  1. SOSU Large Blending Sponge – €7.95

If you like our Pro Blender then you are going to love this new large blending sponge! It doubles in size when water is added and gives the most flawless finish to any makeup product. It can be used with creams and powders.

2. Luxury Velvet Vanity Bag – €12.95

These Vanity Bags are amazing and they hold so much! They’re a perfect size for you to pack some of your skincare must haves, makeup essentials and makeup brushes when you’re on the move. They have the full zip around the whole bag so they open flat which is perfect for when you’re getting ready and you can see what you have with you. They’re such good quality so they won’t tear easily and really affordable too.

Now, lets get into the makeup routine that will take you from day to night 🌟

Radiance Base shades ‘Glow’ and ‘Cosmic Sheen’ – €14.95

I have mentioned this product in my ‘Get Ready with me’ posts the last few times and that’s because I just love it! My makeup routine is not complete without it. As I have mentioned, this is a gorgeous product to wear on its own, over tan and under makeup for a glowy base. I mixed two shades (mentioned above) as this amazing product comes in 3 shades. Its filled with gorgeous ingredients for your skin and doesn’t feel heavy under makeup.

CC Me In Foundation shade ’07 Almond’ – €24.95

This is my go to shade when I have tan on! What I love about this product is that it is buildable. You can wear a little for your every day look or you can build it up for a more full coverage look. It has SPF 45 in it too but it does not give flashback – which is essential for those photos! This is a really hydrating foundation and sits beautifully on top of the radiance base.

Correcting Concealer shade ’04 Light’ – €14.95

My go too concealer. I use this under eyes, forehead and anywhere I want to brighten. I love this shade as it has a peachy undertone which is great for dark circles. This concealer is very light weight and similar to the CC cream, its buildable meaning you can use a little or a lot, depending on how full coverage you want to go, it is medium coverage already so a little does go a long way!

Contour Stick shade ‘Dark‘ – €14.95

For my every day look I sometimes use this Contour stick in shade ‘Warm’ but when I am going out and I have my tan on I go for the dark shade for a deeper contour. These cream sticks are so bendable and they literally melt into the skin which is exactly what we want for a bronzed look. I apply this product to cheek bones, chin, forehead and anywhere I want to bronze the face.

Cream Stick in ‘Blush Rose’ – €14.95

I love blush! and I am loving cream blushes, I use blush rose as my blush base on the skin and then over it I apply ‘Glow Pink’ which is our cream stick that has more of a highlight base to it – these two beautifully compliment each other in my opinion.

Ultimate Brow Collection – €14.98

As I’ve had my Phi-Brows topped up recently I didn’t need to apply that much product to them, so I just took the 3rd shade on an angled brush and applied to the arch and tail of my brows to give them more dimension. This set is a perfect set for anyone who loves doing their brows, you get the brow palette with 4 shades which can also be used as eyeshadow, you get an under brow highlighter, Mini Brow Brush & Mini Tweezers, Dual-Ended Brow Sculpt Brush & a Brow glue to lock it all in place.

Loose Setting Powder ’01 Light’ – €14.95

I used this product to set the areas where I applied my concealer and also applied it with my blender under the eyes to set the concealer and stop any creasing. You can also apply this under the contour to help brighten those areas and give the more ‘chiseled’ look to the face.

Dripping Gold Endless Summer Bronzer – €14.95

On top of the areas where I cream contoured I applied this bronzer with the SF106 brush which is a large fluffy brush, this brush is no longer available but our SF105 is very similar. I love a big fluffy brush when applying powder bronzer as it ensures that I don’t get any harsh lines and that it looks more natural.

Hot Fire shades used ‘Ignite’, ‘Spark’, ‘Warmth’, ‘Copper Light’ & ‘Smoulder’ – €29.95

The Hot Fire really is a staple in my makeup bag. You can create any kind of look with this one palette. Using ignite really makes the blue in my eyes pop which I love, I used warmth to darken the corners and the crease of my eye, copper light to intensify the orange from ignite and smoulder to darken it all up. My go-to smokey eye! I created a cat eye look using the Eye Voltage gel eyeliner (€9.95) to elongate the eye and give it a lift.

I then tightlighed the top of my eye lid with the Kohl Pencil (€9.95) and smudged a bit to my lower lash line adding some of the shades from the Hot Fire to tie it all together.

The look was complete when I applied my absolute favourite type of lashes – Hidden Agenda ‘Cutting Edge’ – €19.95. I did a full talk through of how I applied these and you can find it in my Instagram highlight called ‘SOSU’.

Here is the look side by side:

After that then I applied some of the MAC stack mascara (€30.45) on the top of the lashes and on the lower lash line. I do love this mascara as you can stack it and it will not get clumpy or flakey. You can shop it here on Look Fantastic.

To set the face I used Bronze Glow setting mist – €9.95 to lock everything in place and bring the skin back to life after applying powder.

And finally, on the lips was my all time favourite combo of Birthday Suit lipstick (€9.95) and the hydrating lip oil €9.95

And there you have it guys! That is all the products I used on Friday. Let me know if you have tried some of these products and what you think and also pop me your suggestions if there are any products you would like me to try.
