Spring Skin Superhero’s 🌸 (€30 and under)

Hello everyone! I hope you are all having a great week!

I know its been a little while since I last posted, I am just settling back into life after DWTS and getting back to normal. I’ve had a few meetings booked in and have just been enjoying spending time with friends and family.

As you all know, for the past 4 months I have had very heavy makeup applied to my skin every week and it really kind of took its toll. My skin was breaking out, it was dry and dull and although I really didn’t want to wear a lot of makeup and let it breathe, I am still working on bringing it back to life through treatments so I’m just using some products to give me the ‘no makeup’ makeup look that have been essential to me and I wanted to fill you all in, and the bonus? They’re €30 or less 😊

I took the photo above just this morning so let me detail below how I achieved this look. As always, anywhere you see a product name in bold, you can click on it and it will take you directly to that product on the website.

  1. Skin Prep

You guys know how much I love skin prep. Its essential if I want my makeup to stay nice or my tan to go on seamlessly, its non-negotiable for me.

Firstly, at night, I apply a nice generous layer of the Avocado Silk Sleep Mask from Bloom & Co. – €30.

I love this product. You guys know I have worked with Bloom in the past, however this is a staple product in my skincare drawer. Before I go to bed, when I have washed my face with my usual skincare (I can do a separate post on this if you guys would like?) I apply a really generous layer of this mask about 30mins before I plan to go asleep so it can sink in whilst I watch TV. My skin just drinks this mask, it is super hydrating, it helps plump the skin and fights signs of tiredness. It has some gorgeous ingredients in there such as hyaluronic acid, avocado oil, avocado butter and retinol just to name a few.

Then in the morning, I apply my Hydrogel Eye Pads from Bloom & Co – €15 for a pack of 5.

These eye pads are amazing! I keep mine in the fridge so they are nice and cool when I apply which helps de-puff the eye area. I pop these on when I wake up and keep them on whilst I brush my teeth or have my breakfast and they really wake up the eye area and hydrate those under eyes. These eye pads have a blend of cucumber, hyaluronic acid, & aloe juice to replenish dehydrated skin cells. I’m obsessed!

After my skincare is done I apply the Dripping Gold Radiant Daily Moisturiser with SPF 30 – €19.95

This is an amazing hybrid product that locks in all my serums to keep the moisture in the skin whilst giving me the SPF 30 protection and also protects against UVA & UVB rays. It has some gorgeous ingredients such as Vitamin E to soothe skin and Lychee Extract to keep the skin hydrated and slow down signs of aging. It gives the skin a gorgeous glow so you can wear it on its own or under makeup.

2. Make Up

You guys know I love my makeup, even the smallest bit can really make me feel amazing when I am not having the best day, below are the products I have been using to get the natural ‘no makeup’ makeup look.

SOSU Radiance Base in shade Glow – €14.95

I love any product that will give my skin an added glow! This product has been a staple in my makeup bag since it launched. I wear this over tan when I don’t have make up on, I wear it as a base before I apply makeup or just on its own. It is gorgeous and comes in 3 shades.

Dripping Gold CC Me In CC Foundation in Shade 7 ‘Almond’ – €24.95

I have been using the tiniest amount of this, just for a little added colour to the face to match my tan. The best thing about our CC Cream is that it is a buildable formula, so you can wear the smallest amount for a bit of coverage or you can build it up to a more fuller coverage if you prefer. It has SPF 45 in it also. There is gorgeous ingredients in it like Vitamin B3 and Vitamin E and leaves your skin with a natural dewy finish with no flashback.

SOSU Correcting Concealer in shade 4 ‘Light’ – €14.95

To brighten under they eyes I use the Correcting Concealer in shade 4. Its a medium coverage but very lightweight and doesn’t crease or dry up the under eyes. Like all our products there are gorgeous ingredients including tri-peptides to help increase skin firmness and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Its also safe for sensitive eyes and ophthalmologically tested.

SOSU Blush Cream Stick in shade ‘Blush Rose’ – €14.95

To bring some colour back to the skin I add a bit of the SOSU cream stick in the shade Blush Rose. These cream sticks are super bendable and can be blended with a brush, sponge or your finger. They’re highly pigmented and can be build to your desired look as they are lightweight and non-cakey.

SOSU Contour Stick in shade ‘Cool’ – €14.95

To warm my face, I applied the Contour stick in shade ‘Cool’ to the temples, under the cheek bone, chin and forehead. Like the blush stick, the contour sticks are also very pigmented and super bendable. I absolutely love these contour sticks as they leave the skin looking very subtly bronzed.

SOSU Birthday Suit Lipstick – €9.95

SOSU Nourishing Lip Care Set Scrub & Gloss – €14.95

Dripping Gold Hydrating Lip Oil – €9.95

You guys know, Birthday Suit is my all time favourite lipstick. In the photo above, I am wearing a combination of three products on my lips. When getting ready I apply the lipgloss from the Nourishing Lip Care set and that applies clear but sets with a gorgeous pink tone and I love when my lips have a natural touch of pink. Over that a small amount of Birthday Suit and the Hydrating Lip Oil on top for the super glossy look. I think it gives the lips a gorgeous colour and it looks very natural, not like I’ve lots of lipstick on.

And that’s it for the moment guys. You all know I love my glam, but on the days where I am going to meetings or just catching up with loved ones I like to keep it a bit more on the natural side. I love making sure that my skin is hydrated, radiant and super healthy and these are the prodcuts I have been using that I think helps me acheive that.

You can get the products from Bloom & Co on their website here and any SOSU/Dripping Gold products can be found here. If you do give any of these a try, let me know what you think 🥰
