Introducing #SOSUSKIN…

Hope you’re all snuggled up warm on the couch, with a glass of vino in hand of course!

I just can’t get over the weather of the last few days. Who would have thought that we would have snow that deep … and in March?

Absolutely mad!

I feel so sorry for those who have had to postpone their weddings, and I really feel for those who have to work in such conditions. Guys, please be safe at all times, and don’t forget to bring your animals in from the cold.

Moving on to lighter topics, those of you who follow me on social media will know I have just announced my latest product from SOSUBySJ and I am SO EXCITED!

I am thrilled to introduce to you The Cream Stick Collection.

One of the first makeup products that I developed and created was the Complete Contour Palette, which you guys absolutely loved. It is hands down our bestselling product after the lashes.

Over the last two years, I have been continuously asked to created similar shades from the palette either in the form of a stick or singular pan.

Well, I have been listening, and I have been creating…..

Taking into consideration the love you guys have for the shades in the contour palette, we created 5 super creamy and pigmented foundation/contour sticks!

I know it’s not ideal to have to bring a contour palette with you when you’re going out for the night, and that was the reason I decided to bring out the shades in a very handbag-friendly stick form!

We created the first five shades primarily for contouring, concealing and highlighting, though I do know that some people will wear them as a skin base, I have been – and theyre amazing. They can be worn on their own, or mixed together so just do what works for you.

The sticks are such a multi-use product and I think you guys are going to absolutely love them.

Anyone who knows me knows I’m a stickler for healthy skin so when we were developing the sticks, I was adamant that they had to each be enriched with Vitamin E, as it is one of the best ingredients for skin.

In the collection, there are five shades, to begin with. There will be a sixth shade but it has been slightly delayed in transit so it’s not here just yet.

The five shades are:

Conceal – Light: Full coverage finish, ideal for creating light on the face.

Contour – Warm: Full finish or contour. Ideal for olive skin tones.

Contour – Cool: Full finish or contour. Ideal for paler skin with a pink undertone.

Contour – Dark: Full finish or contour. Ideal for darker skin tones, or for a dark contour.

Glow – Iridescent: A champagne coloured highlighter perfect for that dewy look.

You might remember from my Snapchat and Insta Stories that myself and Carla shot a campaign together on Monday last. This was actually the shoot for the contour sticks!

In charge of our makeup looks for the shoot was the amazing Paula Callan. For the shots, we wore nothing but the cream sticks as our foundation contour and highlight.

We wanted the shoot to be all about the skin and the contouring, so Paula went very natural on the eyes and lips. I love the finished look!

Anyone who loves their makeup will know of Paula Callan. She is one of Ireland’s leading makeup artists and has been at the forefront of the industry for over 15 years, so I took it as a HUGE honour when she complimented how amazing the sticks were in terms of pigment, blending, and the finish they gave the skin.

Having been contouring for years, I know only too well how important it is that contouring products are super-blendable. So, when we were developing these sticks, I specifically had a formula created that would make them even easier to blend out, so you get the most natural possible finish.

For now, we only have a limited number available for pre-sale on sosubysj.com.

They will be hitting pharmacies and national retailers at the end of March, but I will let you know the exact date as soon as I get it.

I’m so excited for you excited for you guys to try our cream stick collection and I’m currently working on more shades that will follow in the coming months.

In terms of price point, the sticks are €15.95 each, however, the great thing about them is that a little goes a long way so one stick will be guaranteed to last you ages!
