As far as I’m concerned, a Sunday spent amongst gowns is a Sunday well spent!
Last Sunday week I spent the day hosting the ‘New Year Wedding & Fashion Show’ in the Bridge House Hotel in Tullamore, and I have to say, I totally embraced wedding fever! It was so much fun being around such a variety of glitz and glam!
I stayed in the hotel’s bridal suite and oh my God, it is such a fab room! Just seriously beautiful!
As promised, I have put together the details of the outfit I wore to the event, as I know that lots of you were keen to find out where I got certain pieces such as the jeans, the boots, the broach, and so on.
Well here’s the details…..
What I Wore: Jeans: here // Jacket: the jacket is last years stock from a boutique, but you can find a similar one from Vero Moda here // Shoes: Louboutin Daf Booties // Broach: a pre-loved Chanel which I bought on eBay.
A lot of you asked how I was able to walk in my Louboutin booties given the height of the heel. Believe it or not but they are actually quite easy to walk in!
The platform at the front takes the pressure off the arch of the foot, and so even though they’re really high, they’re still very comfortable to walk in.
The fair had stands showcasing everything from wedding cakes to bridal bouquets, and the fashion show that took place had some incredibly beautiful gowns!
The wedding team at the Bridge House told me that a VERY popular location for wedding pictures within the hotel is the main staircase, which was designed to replicate the famous staircase in the film Titanic! How cool is that? The hotel also has a beautiful secret garden, specifically for wedding portraits!
It was so nice to meet lots of SoSueMe readers and brides-to-be at the fair. Hope you all picked up plenty of tips on the day! 🙂
