Holiday ‘What I Wore’ Diaries: My x6 Nightly Outfits In Detail!

IMG_2520

Hello everyone… I am BACK.

Egypt was so amazing – I was so apprehensive about going in the beginning because of everything you hear but Dylan reassured me it would be fine as he had been there before. We had said over Christmas that when all the excitement of my best selling book had died down a little, we would jet off on a well deserved holiday in February somewhere. Of course we wanted to go somewhere hot and luxurious, so when the Travel Agent recommended the 5 star resort Sensatori hotel and spa resort in Egypt (all inclusive) for a week with 30 degrees heat everyday – we booked it there and then.

I had never been to Egypt before and I was really looking forward to it. For years I enjoyed going to Marbella for a week filled with partying and glamour, but now that I am getting a bit older *shudders, I want to start branching out location wise and going on more of an activity packed holiday. I want to learn about different cultures and experience things for the first time like camel riding, snorkelling, quad biking, deserts, elephant trekking and so on. From now on, with a little bit of Marbella thrown in of course, I want to book different locations and start to travel a bit more.

For anyone thinking about going to Egypt – you 100% have to. I loved everyday there and I cant wait to go back, we are now thinking about going back in May for another week – I really want to do the diving course and visit the pyramids etc… so who knows, we might rebook it. Resort wise Sensatori wins hands down and apart from the Four Seasons Hotel over there, Sensatori is the best. The service, the cleanness, the rooms, the activities, the security, the food, the drink, the pool area – everything was top notch – we couldn’t have been more spoilt than we were over there. Total bliss.

Now…. moving onto the fashion stakes. Every night I photographed my outfit for you guys… I wanted to show you my choices and maybe give you a little outfit inspiration. I loved every outfit I wore and I felt great in them too – they seemed to have gone own a treat with you guys as one dress had over 3.5k likes 🙂 So now…. as promised here is my holiday What I Wore Diaries.

Outfit One: Friday Night

This was my Valentines night dress. I loved the floral print and the figure hugging bandage style material. The boob area has a little padding so it’s great for giving you that extra boost if you need it 🙂 ! I decided to wear a Fuchsia pink lip to reeally help the pink in the dress pop and lots of you were asking me about the lippy. It’s actually by the Irish brand Fuchsia and it’s called party girl.

Outfit 3: Sunday Night

On the Sunday night it was quite chilling and so I opted for a dress with long sleeves. This dress is so girly yet stylish, it kind of reminds me of a 60’s look. I adore pastels and this powder pink is one of my favs.

I love white on white – all white outfits are my fav right now. It was super chilly this night and I actually got a little bit burnt out in the desert that day camel riding so I wanted to wrap up 🙂

Hi Suzanne 🙂 I LOVE your style, I am a huge fan of yours!
I was hoping you would help me! I have my 18th birthday party coming up soon! I want to get a really lovely outfit, but cannot seem to come across any that fits me nicely and an outfit that I love on me. I am a size 6/8 an I would prefer a fitted outfit! I have been to so many places looking for an outfit, but most of the outfits I found are slightly dull. Have you any suggestions of an outfit I could possibly wear or have came across something in the shops that would suit? 🙂 Chloe x

    Hi Claire,

Yes that would go perfect and I think the dress I was wearing was taken up – so it could be a few inches longer.

Eye makeup is from the Makeup Crew. Not sure what exact colours but if you email them I’m sure they will tell you? http://www.themakeupcrew.ie/

Hope you have a lovely day at the Christening! Sue xx

Hi Sue, love all the looks you’ve posted, you look amazing!! I’m thinking of the cream and black lace dress for a communion next month with a sheer black tight to tone it down a bit for day-time, do you that would work? but what I’m the most interested in is that gorgeous eye-makeup you’re wearing in the valentines night picture with the tropical dress, it’s the most gorgeous, subtle brown, exactly what I’m looking for!! If you have a minute to reply could you please tell me the colours you’ve used or any other details about how you achieved it? I know you’re busy so it would be very much appreciated!! Thanks Sue! xx
